Robbie and Gary “catch up” on stage after 15 years

Concerts & Tour, Take That

The evening will forever go down in history as having witnessed the happy reunion of long lost pals who decided to jive together again on stage after 15 years for a cause.

At a musical night at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London, in aid of the Children in Aid charity, crooner Robbie Williams jammed with front man Gary Barlow and other band mates from ‘Take That’. It was a reunion that the world has been waiting to witness ever since the popular British band of the 90’s resurfaced with their new album after a longish spell in the wilderness.

The band shot to fame in the 90’s with their teen pop fare which went on to become a rage worldwide. For a time, they were even held in league with the ‘Beatles’ in terms of popularity. However, after the ruling the charts for a considerable length of time the band sadly split up in 1995 as Robbie decided to walk away to chart a successful solo career.

Speaking of his performance Robbie said, that he could barely help the tears before joining ‘Take That’ on stage and that he wanted to live the moment a bit longer since they felt happy being back together.

Said Gary of the reunion, “It’s been lovely. There’s been a good excuse to be at the Albert Hall tonight. It feels like this last year, we’ve had Rob back in our lives. Here we areon stage and let’s hope it’s the beginning of more of it.” (source: newspostonline.com)
