Robbie Williams to spend Christmas with the homeless
Its charity for singer Robbie Williams this Christmas, for the former Take That star has volunteered himself to a homeless shelter for the day.
The Feel singer will be spending both Christmas Day and Boxing Day distributing gifts to the less fortunate ones at the Skid Row charity house in LA.
The singer might also play a few notes on his guitar and will be singing Christmas carols after they finish eating.
It was Robbie’s chef friend Raymond Terry who first took him to see the shelter and had quite a few good things to tell about the 33-year-old stars philanthropy.
“Robbie does an awful lot of charity work. And this is really close to his heart. Everybody I’ve taken to Skid Row is moved to tears. And the homeless people there are a lot of fun, The Sun quoted Raymond, as saying.
She further said that though the inmates loved Robbie, they were hardly informed of his star status.
“Most of the guys over here don’t really know who Robbie is. But there’s a lot of excitement in the air, because they’ve been told he’s a big pop star in Europe , she added. (ANI)
