Robbie Williams made £1.6 million in one night
Robbie Williams made more than £1.6 million is just one night. Seriously.
A new report by The Sun is claiming that Robbie was recently paid upwards of £1.6 million to perform at the wedding of a Russian billionaire’s daughter.
According to the site, businessman Rashid Sardarov’s paid Williams the eye watering amount to perform some of his biggest hits at his daughter Victoria’s wedding, and unsurprisingly, Robbie was more than happy to oblige.
Robbie hasn’t commented on the rumours, though the site revealed that Williams recently took to the wedding stage in Prague to perform a number of his most recognisable hits like “Rock DJ” and “Angels.”
Williams also allegedly covered Frank Sinatra’s classic hit “Something Stupid,” which he famously sung with Nicole Kidman back in 2001.
Instagram user Alice Gadzhieva, who’s thought to be a guest at the big wedding, took to social media to post a short video of Robbie looking seriously rock and roll as her performed “Angels.”
Gadzhieva’s post also showed the former Take That band member rocking a mohawk and a black vest, as well as a sneaky peek at a monitor displaying the lyrics just in case the words to Robbie’s biggest hit slipped his mind.
Victoria’s Secret model Sara Sampaio was also thought to be a guest at the wedding and took to the photo sharing site to show off a snap of herself and Williams during the shindig.
“He sang angels just to me,” Sampaio captioned a photo of the two together, alongside the hashtags “#angelsinprague” and “#nakedblack.”
All in all, The Sun reported that Victoria’s big day cost a huge £8.6 million, suggesting the more than 1 and a half million Williams made was probably nothing but chump change to the super rich Russian billionaire.
