Robbie Williams To Play Tel Aviv 2015
Israel is poised to have another Lady Gaga on their hands, after iconic singer/songwriter Robbie Williams, one of the U.K.’s biggest pop stars of the last few decades, announced that he will either play Tel Aviv’s HaYarkon Park or at the Ramat Gan Stadium in May, 2015.
It will be his first time ever performing in Israel.
Williams’ music has been celebrated in the Holy Land for as long as he’s been popular, from smash hits like “Millennium” to “Rock DJ.” The 40-year-old has a reputation of being an exciting and engaging performer, which Israeli audiences will now finally be exposed to.
Williams began his career at the ripe age of 16 after joining the British boy group, Take That. In 1996, he left the group to pursue a solo career, which was a very good decision on his part.
Though we hadn’t seen much him throughout the 2000’s, as he was battling addiction, Williams eventually rejoined Take That for a few years, before releasing another solo album in 2012 and launching another world tour.
Other iconic bands set to perform in Israel include the boys in KISS and The Beach Boys.
