Robbie Williams leaves Brit Awards afterparty to get to bed

The returning hero looked uncomfortable from the start and didn’t hang around, as his security detail found the back way out for the reluctant Robster and his wife, Ayda Field. ‘Gary (Barlow) was trying to get things going,’ said a source.

‘But Robbie looked totally disinterested and done. He was keen to escape and had dark rings under his eyes.’ The source added the 37-year-old even cut short a chat to comedians Michael McIntyre and Alan Carr, who tried to stop him as he bolted. Only an hour or so earlier, he and his bandmates were celebrating winning a first Brit for Take That.

By contrast, Barlow was seen getting the bubbly and the cocktails flowing in their VIP area. Jason Orange looked equally quiet and sat on his own at one point sipping coffee. ‘I’ve been working out loads in training,’ he said on his good behaviour, ahead of their summer tour.

Mark Owen put last year’s marriage woes behind him with a loved-up display with wife Emma Ferguson, who sat on his lap throughout. Earlier, Owen had told the Brits crowd how good it was to have Robbie back as they picked up the best British group trophy. Quite how long Williams hangs around is another matter. Other guests at the Universal party included Pixie Lott, Dermot O’Leary and Jessie J. (Source: Metro.co.uk)
