Williams to release Sport Relief single
Robbie Williams song “Morning Sun” will be released as this year’s single for BBC charity Sport Relief.
The song, taken from his album “Reality Killed The Video Star”, will be released on 8 March, ahead of the Sport Relief weekend which runs from 19 to 21 March. Williams said he was “very happy” to be involved. “Please join us in helping this very worthwhile cause,” he added. This week, the singer is due to record his contribution to the Helping Haiti charity single “Everybody Hurts”.
Rachel Stevens, McFly and Leona Lewis have all released previous Sport Relief singles. David Walliams and James Corden are among other stars taking part in this year’s appeal. Corden is due on the live BBC One show on 19 March while Walliams is planning to cycle the length of the UK from John O’Groats to Land’s End. (source: bbc.co.uk)
