Robbie Williams buys house in UFO hotspot in England

Personal life

Williams has bought a $16 million country estate said to be criss-crossed by mystical energy routes that attract flying saucers. His 71-acre mansion is also in the centre of crop circle country – and just yards from an HQ for thousands of people who investigate the field indentations every summer. Britain’s The Sun newspaper reports the singer, who is obsessed with UFOs, is also within easy reach of a flying saucer study group called SUFOR near his new home in the tiny village of Compton Bassett, Wiltshire.

Locals reported 45 UFO sightings last year – more than most other counties in Britain. The singer has moved back to Britain after five years in Los Angeles. He claims to have seen UFOs three times and called his 2006 tour Close Encounters. SUFOR organiser Chris Williams told The Sun: “Wiltshire has a really rich history of … unexplained phenomena.

“We have a lot more UFO sightings than most and we’ve got the famous stone circles at Stonehenge and Avebury and the ancient mystical sites like Silbury Hill. I’m sure Robbie would find our meetings fascinating.” (source: news.com.au)

  • I’m growing very tired of resisting the life I am destined to live.

Thank you for speaking to me Robbie. Through your music, you are an inspiration. If I ever have the opportunity, I will buy a round of drinks and toast to you, to me and to our good fortune.
