Robbie blew his chances with Kylie Minogue 10 years ago
Robbie Williams has admitted in his new book he blew his chances with Kylie Minogue when he laughed at her naked. Williams’ new book You Know Me was recently released and in it he revealed the time he met up with Minogue, now 42, to record the music video for their single Kids 10 years ago. He said that the Aussie pop princess took off all her clothes apart from a G-string and Williams, who had had a crush on her for some time, then burst into laughter.
He said she was ‘offended’ at his actions and he just turned into a ‘bit of a teenage boy’ around her because he had a crush on her. Williams said in the book: ‘I just burst out laughing. Which I don’t think went down well with Kylie. I may have offended her too, because she must have felt vulnerable too, being naked on set, and being naked in front of me.’ (source: monstersandcritics.com)
