Robbie Williams offered £1.5million for 30 minute gig
Robbie Williams has reportedly been offered £1.5million to play a half hour festival gig – but those close to him aren’t sure he’ll go for it. According to the Mirror, Robbie has been offered the gig – the equivalent of £50,000 a minute – to headline at a festival in Sandness, Norway – but he’s been taking a break from the spotlight after revealing his Close Encounters Tour in 2006 “nearly killed me”.
A source told the newspaper: “It would be probably the easiest money he’ll make in his life but it’s touch and go whether he’ll say yes. We’ll have to wait and see.”
Robbie, who is worth an estimated £130million and lives in relative obscurity in Los Angeles, recently wrote on his blog: “The more time I’m spending away from public life, the more I like it.”
He is also said to be withholding the release of his next studio album after his record label EMI were bought out by a private equity firm: “I might put the B-sides to the next album out first online. Then put an album out in 2009 which means you won’t be seeing a lot of me on stage.” (source: fametastic.co.uk)

Now he said that he will have this money by all means even if it means killing me, so because of this I ran away from home and hide in a hotel,pending when this money will be transfered so that I can leave the country for my safty.
